A charming, yet sorrowful track about someone who waits for the one they love, forever.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

furisosogu shiro no iro hiroi hiroi sora wo kakushite
omoide no kyanbasu ni iro wo kasaneru

The snow pours down, concealing the wide, wide sky. (1)
Colours pile up on the canvas of my memories.

sekiei furitsumoru kono michi wo aruku
dokoka ni oitekita ashiato wo sagasu

I walk upon a path, on which quartz falls and piles up.
I search for the footprints that were left somewhere…

anata no omoide ga kieteiku
haru e to tokedasu kono konayuki no you
anata no egao sae kieteiku
shizuku wo nokoshi kieta…

My memories of you are fading away,
Like this powdery snow, which dissolves into spring.
Even your smiling face fades away.
It has vanished, leaving behind a drop of water…

[Falling crystal snow…]

[Falling crystal snow…]
sakanoboru koto nai yuki no you ni
mabushii shiro no ano hibi wa mou modoranai kedo
kesshite tokeru koto nai suishou ga
ano kisetsu goto kooraseteita toshitara…

[Falling crystal snow…]
Like the snow, which does not fall upwards to the sky,
Those days of radiant white will no longer return. However…
What if those crystals, which will never thaw,
Were to freeze over the seasons…?

maiodoru shiro no iro kuroi kuroi sora wo kakushite
hoo ni saku yuki hitohira namida tsukuru

The dancing snow conceals the black, black sky.
The flakes of snow bloom upon my face, making tears…

ano hi nigitta te no ondo wa kyou no you de
anata ni furitsumoru yuki wo omoidasu

The heat of your hands, which I held that day, is like that of today.
I remember the snow, which fell and piled up upon you…

sayonara sayonara toiki tokeru
anata no moto e wa mou todokanakute
sayonara sayonara toiki tokeru watashi wo nokoshi kieta…

Farewell, farewell. My sigh dissolves…
I cannot reach you anymore.
Farewell, farewell. My sigh dissolves and vanishes, leaving me behind…

[Falling crystal snow…]

[Falling crystal snow…]
anata no atatakai te ga nakucha
watashi no te wa mou tsumetai mama de kogoechau kara
kono kajikamu ryoute wo atatamete
kazoekirenai fuyu wo kazoe matteiru

[Falling crystal snow…]
Without your warm hands,
My cold hands will soon end up freezing. So…
I heat up these numb hands,
And I count countless winters as I wait for you.

sora no mukou ni te wo nobashitemo
tooku no anata made todokazu ni yuki tokasu dake
nidoto aenai no ni shinjiteru
kitto dokoka no fuyu de kimi ga matteiru

Even if I stretch my hand beyond the sky,
It will just dissolve into the snow, without reaching you.
Though I will never meet you again, I believe that
Surely, in a winter somewhere, you’re waiting for me…

mata haru ga kuru…
mata haru ga kuru…
anata no inai…

Spring will come again…
Spring will come again…
And you won’t be there…

saigo no hi made kogoe nagara matteiru…

I’m waiting for you, frozen, until my last day…

(1) It’s a minor note, but the word ‘snow’ isn’t actually used here. Rather, they use the term 白の色 (shiro no iro, ‘white colour’). I felt that it would be more appropriate to replace it with ‘snow,’ since we don’t normally refer to snow like that in English.
