‘God’ is presumably Kanako. Still, the lyrics are really tragic. Poor Utsuho…

囁く言葉 神様の声 満たされていく心
新しい意味と 生きてく力をくれた 暖かい嘘

sasayaku kotoba kamisama no koe mitasarete iku kokoro
atarashii imi to ikiteku chikara wo kureta atatakai uso

I heard whispered words—God’s voice—and my heart was filled.
A warm lie granted me new meaning and the strength to keep living.

膝を抱えて見上げた空に黒い太陽微笑んで輝く
神の火に包まれて眠る私の夢は
信じ込むことで本当の光になるよ

hiza wo kakaete miageta sora ni kuroi taiyou hohoende kagayaku
kami no hi ni tsutsumarete nemuru watashi no yume wa
shinjikomu koto de hontou no hikari ni naru yo

A black sun smiled and shined in the sky. I looked up at it with my hands around my knees.
I slept, wrapped in God’s flames. I dreamed
That through firmly believing, I would become true light.

空っぽ頭 鴉の頭 神様にはなれない

karappo atama karasu no atama kamisama ni wa narenai

With my empty head, the head of a crow, I can’t become a god.

わかってる でも救ってくれた
心に灯火ぬくもり感じて

wakatteru demo sukutte kureta
kokoro ni tomoshibi nukumori kanjite

I know. Still, they saved me.
I felt warmth from the flame in my heart.

必然でも偶然でもどうでもいいんだ
選ばれた事実ただそれが嬉しかったの
罪 咎 憂いを取り去りたもう太陽に
焼き尽くされて堕ちる 微笑う
「おやすみなさい」

hitsuzen demo guuzen demo dou demo ii nda
erabareta jijitsu tada sore ga ureshikatta no
tsumi toga urei wo torisarita mou taiyou ni
yakitsukusarete ochiru warau
“oyasuminasai”

I don’t care whether it was inevitable or by chance.
I was chosen—that truth alone made me happy.
My crimes, sins, and sadness have been taken away.
Burned to nothing by the sun, I’ll fall and smile.
“Goodnight.”

Hello. Thank you for your translation.

I think 「たもう」 is an auxiliary verb of respect and 「に」 means “by”.
Under that assumption, 「太陽」 is the doer(not grammatical one), who burnt Utsuho to nothing.

Thanks for that! I didn’t realise that たもう could also be read/interpreted in that way, but it makes sense
